Active Member Status
An active member in good standing is entitled to full participation in Mu Omicron’s activities and proceedings, including the right to attend meetings, to make motions, to speak in debate, to vote, and the right to serve on the board and committees.
Responsibilities of Members
Pay Annual Dues: Maintain membership in good standing by ensuring timely payment of all annual dues.
Active Engagement: Commit to active membership through committee service, mentorship, professional advocacy, and member recruitment.
Professional Advancement: To advance the field by leading conference clinics, engaging in proactive knowledge exchange, and providing technical and artistic expertise to a broad range of musical communities and organizations.
Advocacy: Advocate for the profession and for the vital role of music education.
Ethical Conduct: Uphold a high standard of ethics in all professional and organizational activities.
Dues shall be set by the Executive Board of the fraternity, and will be due annually.
